HOME  GALLERY  SAK FIGHTS 7TH MARCH 2002

Excerpt from KO Instructor, Sak Nayagam's report on his latest fight in Thailand ..

Hope you are well in London and that KO is kicking as hard as ever!

I fought on Thursday 7th March at the new Lamai Stadium in Koh Samui. My opponent was Sakkasiem who had about 220 bouts experience and was also last years Southern Thailand Champion. Fantastic match-up for me.

I trained harder than I ever have for this fight with Paul Slowinski, current WMC Light-Heavy World Champ and the fitness really paid off. I managed to dictate an aggressive pace over the 5 x 3 minute rounds resulting in a win on points. Relied mainly on my hands and low kicks. Sakkasiem collapsed from exhaustion after the final bell and was assisted out of the ring - giving you an indication of the punishing pace!

Currently resting up in Malaysia for a few days before heading back into training for my next fight.

Cheers,
Sak.

PS. Val also fought on the same card that night getting a good first win on points against an experienced thaiboxer (Lek) who had 40 bouts experience.

Well done Sak! Please carry on keeping us up to date, you have a lot of fan's here!
